555 West 23rd Street is a modern, luxury, 14 story condo building. The architect was Stephen B. Jacobs Group and Douglaston Development. Levine Builders provided construction management services. The interior designer was Andi Pepper Interior Design whose award-winning work has been described as “painting with fabrics, carpets, wood and stone”. She is responsible for the interiors of the Hotel Gansevoort, Giraffe and Library as well as numerous award winning, cutting edge luxury apartments and condominiums.

The 14-story, 337-unit apartment building at 555 West 23rd Street was built in 2006. It has a doorman, a concierge, valet services, a fitness room, bicycle storage, on-site valet parking, some terraces, and a landscaped outdoor courtyard. The building’s lobby has a large “license plate” sign with the building’s address. There is a three-story atrium and a skylit lounge with a fireplace and its courtyard garden has fountains.

Apartments have Grigio Sardo granite counter tops with glass mosaic backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, Danze fixtures, cayenne maple cabinetry, honed Stargate Nero floors and Fusion hand-blown pendant lighting. Bathrooms have rainfall showers, espresso wood vanities, marble, granite and porcelain tile.
